Yes, bad things happen to everyone. I guess its just timing. And well, not everything should be seen as "bad" in a way. Someone told me, "its just how you look at it". Another one said, "learn as much as you can from it". And then, "running away wont solve the problem, an neither is crying and whinning over it".
Even my friends agreed with me, this has just been a sucky week. But then again, everytime after a heavy downpour, the sun peeks out behind grey clouds and a few rays of light shows itself, telling everyone the "worse" is over.
And then we start all over again, preparing for the next strike.
I guess what i learn from this time is you can never know how things might change, even if you think you've got it all figured out. Sometimes harping on and on about your problem might just turn it from bad to worse.
Mum told me, a true friend is one who keeps your best interests at heart even at their own expense.
My boyfriend told me, you have learn how to be positive even if things turn ugly.
My close friends tell me, its not worth letting go something you've been building for many years just because conflicts arise. Deal with it and move on.
I am a very very negative person, sometimes i would rather believe the worse about someone than focus on the good points.
That sucks, i know.
Anyway, time to close those doors and open up new ones. Hmm, then again maybe i should have done that a long time ago, things might not have to get so complicated now.
Oh well, enough with the what-ifs.
Till then

Friends.
Friends are one of the best things that God can give us.
They reprimand and advise you when you've done something wrong eventhough they know you wont listen. They comfort you and take your side when you've argued with your boyfriend/girlfriend and eventhough you're the one wrong. They laugh at you and tease you mercilessly when you've done something funny or embaressing, and when you thought everything's forgotten, they remind you about it again. They remember your birthdays or sometimes they accidently forget it and promise they'll make it up to you. When they have nothing to do or they're bored then they'll call you out because they know you always have their backs. They invite you over to their place to do nothing. They see through all the fake smiles and cover ups and know just what to say when you're in need. They keep cancelling out on you, but you know that they'll always come back. They speak your lingo and will know what you are trying to say even without you having to say it out, just a nod or a flick of the eye will do. They will always tell you that you're fat even when you are not, just for the fun of it. They'll call, text or email if the first two options are out even if they're halfway across the world just to make sure you're okay or to clear a misunderstanding that you're freaking out about. They buy chocolates for you when they're overseas eventhough they know you dont eat them. They get you silly little souveniers and trinkets when they're on holiday eventhough they know you'll probably keep them in a corner and not use them. They help you deal with breakups and heartaches buy doing stupid things with you like jogging and eating ice cream everyday. And they always remind you they will not let a guy/girl come in between your abnormally long friendship.
What would we do without friends.
You tell me.

Senior year aka 2010
Yes its a new year. *groans*
Wakes up from bed and stares at ceiling.
Im in my final year. Shit.
Senior year.
I hate that term. Makes me sound so old. But then again, in the eyes of many(aherm) im still quite young. I have my whole life ahead of me. Time to move on and take the next step. Being at the cross roads again can be quite fun actually, risky. I like it. Trying out new things and stuff, and with nothing holding me back. Well what the heck.
Am i ready to dive into the unknown?
Anyway, a new semester is starting. Gotta go back to kampar soon. Hmm, thinking about the fact that in another few more months time i will be back here, looking for something else to do after i graduate kinda make me miss kampar a little. *clings tightly to kampar*
Yeah as absurd as that sounds, i do miss that place. I miss the freedom, the weather and the atmosphere, the people, the "simple" life, the place, and the FOOD! I think im gonna try to spend more time there and not come back here so much if i can. Just to savour the sense of belonging while i still can.
Im a KAMPARIAN!! HEAR ME RAWR!!
Anyways, last year's new year's eve was very different from the previous years. I spent it with my two classmates. And im glad i did that, i mean adding to the memories. I still remember, when the clock struck 12 i was in the arms of my 2 close friends and we were happily hugging each others and jumping up and down amidst the other groups of screaming people.
Seriously, deciding to go to a place like zouk for new year's count down is kind of a bad idea for someone who doesnt like to be in a crowd. Getting to the toilet from where we were sitting was like going through a stampede of elephants. I literally had to push and shove the people that were in my way to get through. And someone spilled their drink on me. Good thing i was wearing denim. Alright, next year we're definitely doing something else for new year's countdown girls.
Still it was fun to stay over and do nonsense, like drink tequila shots, and drink baileys with chocolate milk and eat chachos and take stupid pictures.
And have pillow fights!!! (to tell u the truth ive never done that before)
And my favourite, watch drunk people do nonsense!! Yeah!! muahahahahaha. (okay that was in zouk)
Wish you were with us bev..sigh
we would have brought the house down..
Here are a few pictures i was supposed to upload but then i was too lazy so there. Some stuff i did before new year.
The Dim sum at ss2 is really good, frequented by beings as seen above. Loyal customers we are.
This here is my pride and joy. Chocolate layer cake covered in fudge. And yes it tastes even better than it looks. Mum bought a new oven you see, so for the past few weeks we were trying out different cakes. This was the only successful one. The first and second were cheese cakes - first one was burnt, second was flooded..and if ure thinking "how do you flood a cake?"...dont ask..i dont know, it just happened.
And this here is my neighbour's fat cat. It comes over sometimes in the morning and afternoon to cool off under my mum's car in the porch. Its so fat that i have a hard time carrying it. And its damn manja phew, but one cannot help but love this little fat ball of fur. EEK!
Okay its 11pm. Time for "How i met your mother".
Good day people.
Till then.
Ps. I Love Neil Patrick Harris.
